Privacy Policy
DBoundlessJoy LLC (“DBoundlessJoy,” “we,” “us”) is an Austin, Texas company with two divisions: a licensed motor carrier hauling general freight, and a software & IT team that builds applications for clients and runs our own carrier. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to our website, our services, and our fleet application — including the text messages we send.
Information we collect
- When you contact us. If you request a freight quote, a software project, or IT consulting through our website or by email, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, and your message.
- Application accounts. For people who use our fleet back-office application (our drivers, dispatchers, and owner-operators): name, mobile phone number, and email, provided at onboarding.
- Operational data. Loads, documents, mileage, and settlement records entered or uploaded by application users to run the fleet.
- Usage information. Basic technical logs needed to operate and secure our website and application.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide freight, software, and IT services.
- To provide the application and authenticate users (including one-time login codes sent by text).
- To send operational notifications such as load assignments and settlement updates.
- To operate, secure, support, and improve our services.
Sign-in text messages
The fleet application signs users in with a one-time verification code sent to their mobile number through our authentication provider. These are verification messages only — we do not operate a marketing SMS program. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number for marketing purposes. Message and data rates may apply.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example, messaging, hosting, and payment processing — under obligations of confidentiality and only as needed to deliver our services, or where required by law. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared for third-party or affiliate marketing.
Data retention & security
We keep your records for up to 7 years, in line with standard tax and business record-keeping practice; records older than that are automatically deleted or de-identified. To limit how much sensitive material we hold, the original scanned documents and photos you upload are removed from storage after about 3 years, while the information taken from them (the loads, amounts, and totals) is kept for the full retention period. You remain responsible for any record-keeping requirements that apply to your own business, and can export your records at any time to keep your own copies. When you cancel, we keep your data for 60 days so you can reactivate or export it, then delete or de-identify it, except for limited records we must retain longer for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect all of it.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
